CHURCH… Show-Up or Change-Up?

Second Chance Church is currently engaged in a message series called “The Biggest Loser”.  We are committed this year to going deeper in our faith and losing all the things that prevent us from becoming fully committed followers of Jesus Christ.

During this series, we’re encouraging people to attend in work-out gear as a reminder that we’re not going to a church service just to be seen, we’re going to be changed.  We’re going to “work out our faith”.

That may not be how many people see “going to church”.  But Bill Hybels suggests that whether it’s spoken or unspoken, people are asking for this:

“Move me! Scare me! Inspire me! Convict me! Stir me! Anger me! Surprise me! Ignite me! Thrill me! Just don’t leave me the way you found me when I walked through your doors!”
